The Altitude lamppost is composed of 1 to 4 modules of 4-sided solar panels that give it its square shape.
7 days autonomy
In energy saving mode, the Altitude solar lighting system can provide up to 7 days of light without recharging.
Easy to install
For ease of assembly, installation and relocation (if required), Solidel lampposts do not need to be buried.
Motion detector (coming soon)
We will add a motion detector to the system. This will allow you to save more energy and to reinforce the security of your spaces during the night.

The vertical structure of the panels can be quickly cleaned from the ground with a pole, reducing maintenance costs.

If you thought the words “high performance” and “solar power” couldn’t co-exist, think again. The Altitude solar lamppost is the solution for reliable, high-performance solar lighting. With the ability to illuminate your space in summer and winter, the Altitude lamppost is the solution to the big needs.
A vertical design.
The vertical solar module is a technology unique to Solidel. Currently patent pending, our module reduces the wind resistance zone, thus reducing the risk of breakage. Even better, the vertical solar panels will never be covered with dust and/or snow. The Altitude lamppost can store all the energy it needs to light your home, regardless of the climate (Canadian or even Quebecois!) As a bonus, vertical solar panels can store more sunlight than horizontal panels!
An energy accumulator.
The Altitude lamppost is what we call an all-in-one lighting system. It captures sunlight, stores it in a battery and converts it into energy to (1) provide lighting and (2) power many other types of services. The Altitude lamppost is designed to meet the needs of large area lighting, video surveillance, environmental monitoring, Internet access, advertising displays, security barriers and more.
A relocatable lamppost.
Even if the Altitude lamppost is very imposing because of its height, it remains relatively compact and easily relocatable. The solar power supply means that it does not need to be connected to wires that must be buried in the ground. The impressive 25.6V battery that powers the lamppost is located in the first panel section for quick, easy and safe access.
Lifetime of 3,500 cycles.
Using a quality lithium battery provides a longer life for the solar lamppost and works perfectly in low and/or high temperatures (-30°C to 50C°). Lithium batteries have a longer lifespan (about 15-20 years), which means that they can be replaced less often and significantly reduce service calls and the environmental impact of batteries.
Available options
Like the Panorama lamppost, the Altitude lamppost is modular and includes several built-in components: solar panels, lithium battery, charge controller and motion sensor to save energy. The lamppost comes standard with a few components, but it is also possible to modulate yours according to your needs with the following options:
