A solid position

  • Start date: Right now.
  • Schedule: 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – we are flexible.
  • Salary: Your expertise will help us determine your salary.
  • Remote working/Presidential: We’re open to telecommuting, but we won’t hide it, we like to see your hoe at our Drummondville office.

Note: you’ll need a vehicle to travel to a few customers! (km reimbursement)

Your responsibilities

  • Create new products and integrate new technologies into our existing products.
  • Test, monitor and propose solutions and components to improve the efficiency of our products.
  • Explore new technologies (R&D), concepts and methods to improve the efficiency and reliability of solar energy solutions.
  • Develop training materials for our customers on the effective use of our solar products.
  • Contribute to the creation of technical sheets/drawings and product user guides.
  • Providing technical support to our customers: answering questions, solving problems and ensuring optimum use of solar products and services.
  • Design and repair solar products.
  • Participate in the creation of photometric reports.
  • Keep abreast of solar energy market trends, regulations and technological advances to advise the company on future developments.
  • Any other related tasks.

What you need

  • In-depth knowledge of solar technologies, components and photovoltaic systems.
  • Research and development skills with the ability to conceptualize, test and implement new ideas.
  • Ability to work independently and manage several tasks simultaneously.
  • Academic background or practical experience in solar energy or related fields. At least 2 to 5 years’ relevant experience.
  • Electronics engineer or technician, an asset.
  • Good knowledge of written and spoken English, an asset.
