Solidel

Sustainable lighting for the Municipality of Chénéville

Solidel recently installed six Tradition solar streetlights in the municipality of Chénéville.
Located in the Outaouais administrative region, the municipality covers more than 65 square kilometers and has a population of around 800.

It was a real pleasure to work with a municipality that invests in sustainable solutions and takes the preservation of our environment to heart!

Advantages of Tradition solar streetlights

Tradition solar street lamps, with their more traditional look, provide 360-degree illumination.
In addition to lighting with clean energy, the lampposts are installed on pyramid-shaped bases, made from 40% recycled materials, adding aesthetic appeal and sustainability to the project.

The shape of the luminaire provides circular illumination, eliminating dark corners and enhancing the safety of public spaces.
What’s more, the integrated motion detector saves energy and makes your parks safer at night.

Easy installation and maintenance

Tradition solar streetlights are lightweight and (with the right equipment) easy to move.
The absence of buried wires simplifies installation, and the lights can be stored over winter (if required).
With 20 Watts of power and a high-performance LED bulb, each streetlight includes a 14.8-volt lithium-ion battery.

Substantial savings

Solar street lamps cost up to 30% less than an electric street lamp.
Replacement costs are minimal, as all you need to do is change the battery or LED bulb for an upgrade or replacement!

Environmental awareness in Chénéville?

The municipality of Chénéville, by adopting these solar streetlights, is setting an example in terms of sustainability and environmental protection.
In addition to reducing its carbon footprint, this initiative is helping to raise public awareness of the importance of solar energy.

Solidel’s target audience?
